Jaguar XF is the long awaited Luxury Sports Sedan that will debut worldwide at the Detroit motor show. The 2010 Jaguar XF has all the ingredients that makes it an high-end luxury performance sedan, in the autooutlet world. The crew in Coventry has made the XF even better, as the hottest XF gets power from the all new 5.0-liter AJ-V8 Gen III engine fitted with a sixth-generation, Roots-type twin vortex system (TVS) supercharger. It produces an output of 510HP between 6,000-6,500 rpm and 625Nm (461 lb.ft) of torque from 2,500-5,500 rpm. A special treatment is given to the Jag sedan by increasing its power by 23 percent and torque by 12 percent.
The 2010 Jaguar XF sporty sedan has two new electronically controlled system to transmit the engine and the driver’s enthusiasm. The first, is the cars Active Differential Control, system that varies torque between the rear wheels depending on the surface. This is to prevent the vehicle from excessive wheel slip. This unique and traditional, mechanical differential system works and stabilizes the sedan under hard applications of power. With this particular system employed the Jag allows easy power slides. The second, new electronically controlled system is the Adaptive Dynamics. This system is capable to control the vertical movement, roll rate, and pitch rate of the chassis by analyzing the rates and adjusting the dampening to compensate it.
